| Entering the Pedro Miguel lock after a motor across the Gatun lake, we were put into the lock ahead of a large ship. It was pretty scary watching "Gulfwind" moving into the lock behind us. The pilot on the bridge couldn't see us directly so was relying on crew placed on the bow to advise him how close he was approaching and when to stop. | |
